Demetria Obilor is a nationally-recognized, television personality, journalist and actress who works on-air at REVOLT TV, where she hosts "Stopping Traffic with Demetria Obilor" (launching this summer). Demetria was given her own spinoff series after co-hosting the Telly Award-winning, 2022 season of talk show "Black Girl Stuff" on REVOLT.
For the past several years, she has worked on TV as a host and news/traffic anchor at NBC Kansas City; CBS Las Vegas and ABC Dallas where she captured global audiences with her empowering response to body shaming by a local viewer. Demetria solidified her presence in the sports world with the launch of Sporting News’ “Sporting 7 Podcast,” where she voiced/hosted over 100 episodes, interviewing some of the biggest sports stars in the business.
With a decade of on-air experience under her belt, Demetria has used her bold voice and platform to create sought-after content and viral moments.
She is also known as #TrafficBae, a moniker that was given to her during her time as a traffic anchor.
